The second New York business venture for the American-Irish O’Connor family, O’Connor’s Public House opened in Mount Kisco in late September 2008.

The 2,000 sq ft premises is an Irish themed bar and restaurant which serves an Irish menu from midday each day. Proprietor Sean O’Connor has drafted a team of Irish and Irish American staff from their home bar, restaurant and guesthouse businesses in Blarney, Co Cork. The Mount Kisco bar will form a sister business to brother Bobby O’Connor’s year old operation in Brewster, New York.

O’CONNORS PUBLIC HOUSE, BREWSTER, NEW YORK

In April 2007, the O'Connor family opened a superb bar in New York, bringing Blarney to New York. The family returned from the USA over 20 years ago, but have retained a business interest there since their departure.

O'Connor's Public House is the culmination of a major redevelopment of an existing premises in Southeast, New York, Proprietor Bobby O'Connor is hoping to transfer that same warmth and mystique that encompasses all of the visitors to his family's establishment in Ireland.

Upon entering the newest addition to the Southeast Business community, visitors will encounter a beautiful large mosaic of turn-of-the-century Cork City, Ireland and they will also be greeted by a very friendly staff. Patrons will be able to order food from a carefully selected Irish Fare Menu or maybe just partake in a round of your favorite spirits from the beautifully appointed bar which will include our own Gourmet Coffee Bar.
